Estimator

Collaborate with project managers to review project specifications drawings and client

requirements.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials labor and equipment based on project plans

and specifications.

Analyze blueprints drawings and other documentation to understand project scope and

requirements.

Utilize a medium level of proficiency in Excel to create and maintain estimating spreadsheets

and databases.

Research and source materials subcontractor quotes and other necessary information to

accurately estimate project costs.

Ensure estimates are comprehensive competitive and align with company profitability goals.

Support project managers in developing and presenting proposals to clients.

Maintain documentation of estimates including assumptions exclusions and clarifications.

Coordinate with vendors suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and

ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field is preferred.

At least 3 years of previous experience as an Estimator.

Cabinet making or Cabinet estimating or similar custom manufacturing environment experience will be highly regarded.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans and drawing

Medium level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for creating and analyzing spreadsheets.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.

Familiarity with construction estimating software (e.g. Procore PlanSwift) is a plus.

Openness to learning and adapting to new systems procedures and technologies.
