Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Nurse Manager House Supervisor or designated authority the incumbent is responsible for delivering highquality nursing care. This includes both direct patient care and supervising the care provided by the team to ensure adherence to physician orders nursing practices standards of care and facility policies. The role demands independent judgment strong critical thinking skills and compliance with facilities policies as well as state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric populations.

Conduct thorough medical evaluations diagnose illnesses and develop individualized treatment plans.

Prescribe medications and therapies and monitor patient response to treatment.

Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and specialists as needed.

Educate patients and their families about preventive care treatment options and healthy lifestyle choices.

Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records in accordance with regulatory standards and practice policies.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.

Stay current with medical research trends and best practices through continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements:

Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine

Board certification or eligibility in a primary care specialty (e.g. Family Medicine Internal Medicine)

Active medical license in the state of Missouri (or eligibility for licensure)

Strong clinical skills and diagnostic abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to providing patientcentered care with compassion and empathy
