Maritime Systems Engineer

Role:

• Monitor & maintain the efficiency of software supporting vessel operations in Maritime industry. Work closely with cross functional colleagues & vendors to triage problem solve enhance and keep up to date various applications.
• Administer applications including User Role provisioning following the security guidelines & organizational best practices.
• Identify process gaps by effectively collaborating with the Business participate in the requirement gathering capture requirements for enhancements or new developments and translate them into functional technical specifications.
• Support Unit testing Regression testing & User Acceptance testing and ensure the Test results are welldocumented.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of IT Application experience in Maritime industry strong technical knowledge of tools and technologies used to support vessel and crew activities
• 2 years of handson experience supporting SaaS applications and cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills
• Experience in supporting multiple applications
• Experience troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
• Handson experience implementing simultaneous projects
