Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with the restaurants recipes and standards.
• Ensure the highest quality and presentation of food is served to guests.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe kitchen environment.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure all supplies are properly stored.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in the training and development of kitchen staff.
• Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent is an asset but not required.
• Strong understanding of cooking methods ingredients and equipment.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Passion for cooking and a keen eye for detail.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to relocate to Muskoka (living arrangements will be provided by the employer).
• Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain one.
