We are seeking a dynamic and skilled professional wellversed in technical procurement to join our team in Karlsfeld (Munich). By collaborating closely with our CTO you will play a crucial role in optimizing the operation of our recycling plant. Your contributions will directly translate into a significant reduction in battery waste and thus play an important part in combating climate crisis. Tasks

What you can expect

• Formulate and execute procurement strategies for sourcing input materials and machinery integral to our recycling procedures
• Establish and maintain a reliable supplier network while managing and negotiating contracts
• Collaborate with the engineering teams to comprehend technical requirements and ensure the procurement strategy aligns with company objectives
• Oversee the complete supply chain process from order initiation to delivery ensuring adherence to timelines and compliance with technical specifications
• Evaluate and respond to supply chain risks crafting contingency plans to mitigate potential issues
• Finetune inventory management practices to strike a balance between operational efficiency and costeffectiveness
• Implement and monitor KPIs for tracking and assessing supply chain performance

Requirements

What we are looking for

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in procurement supply chain management with a preference for working in deep tech renewable energy or plant construction
• Track record of successful supply chain optimization and cost reduction
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Engineering or a related field; Master is a plus
• Strong negotiation skills you strive to find the best option considering technological economic and strategic aspects
• Ability to work autonomously on your projects while being a team player
• Flexible and solutiondriven approach navigating through the uncertainties of startup life
• Technical understanding of metallurgical/chemical engineering is desirable to facilitate alignment with the engineering teams
• Fluency in German and English is required any additional language is a plus
