Job Title: Configuration Management Architect
Duration: Through end of November 2024 with potential for extension
Location: Chicago (3 days onsite)

Overview:
Our investment banking client in Chicago is seeking a talented Configuration Management Architect to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in configuration management architecture with a strong proficiency in Ansible and additional skills in Python Chef YAML Jinja2 Ruby and Shell scripting. Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux systems or platforms is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement or rearchitect existing configuration management tools to integrate fully with CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
• Introduce automation to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Develop standards for Playbooks or Cookbooks to ensure consistency and scalability.

Required Skills:

• Configuration Management architecture experience.
• Proficiency in Ansible with experience filtering into ServiceNow.
• Strong scripting skills in Python Chef YAML Jinja2 Ruby and Shell.
• Indepth knowledge of Unix/Linux systems or platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CMDB integration.
• Familiarity with automation tools and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
