We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join a leading Structural Engineering Firm in Memphis TN.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct structural analyses and inspections of residential commercial industrial and historical buildings.
- Prepare detailed construction documents including calculations drawings and specifications using relevant design software (experience with REVIT is highly desired)
- Work collaboratively with architects contractors and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Provide clear and concise recommendations for repairs and renovations.
- Participate in site visits and construction reviews to verify code compliance and quality of construction (handson experience with wood construction is a plus).
- Stay uptodate with the latest building codes and industry standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Tennessee or actively pursuing licensure.
- Minimum 510 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Proven experience with structural analysis software (REVIT experience strongly preferred)
- Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education & Experience: - Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. - 7+ years of experience in residential and commercial engineering. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
