TPF Recruitment is proud to represent an independent firm of chartered accountants in their search for an Audit and Accounts SemiSenior. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the firm.
Role:
The Audit and Accounts SemiSenior will play a vital role in the firms audit and accountancy services. The split of work is evenly distributed with 50% of the role dedicated to audit and 50% to accounts preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting audits in accordance with auditing standards and statutory requirements.
- Preparing accounts for a variety of clients including sole traders partnerships and limited companies.
- Assisting with the planning execution and completion of audit assignments.
- Liaising with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
- Drafting tax computations and assisting with tax compliance work.
- Providing support to junior team members and assisting with their development.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Partqualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with significant progress made towards qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in accountancy practice with a focus on audit and accounts.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and auditing procedures.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Benefits
Salary:
The salary for this position ranges from 30000 to 40000 depending on experience and qualifications.

As an Audit Semi-Senior you will: Have a minimum of 24 months experience and studying towards ACCA or ACA A practical audit and accounts experience gained from an accountancy practice A knowledge of various software packages Strong communication and team working skills Experience in direct contact with clients would be preferred
