Coopers is a Toronto based staffing agency dedicated to providing excellent service to all clients and applicants in the greater Toronto area. Our client is seeking a Marketing Specialist to cover a 1 year mat leave this individual needs to be a selfstarter who can work independently and with a team. The Marketing Specialist needs to have a strong interest in marketing operations event marketing and digital marketing to help generate greater brand awareness and new business. If you are committed to supporting and implementing marketing campaigns planning internal and external events (conferences trade shows corporate meetings) and keeping your teammates organized and on track then we ve got the right opportunity for you.


Responsibilities:
  • Champion the implementation of marketing and communication campaigns or campaigns initiatives. This could include sales collateral and thought ware development event planning online activity direct mail sponsorships speakers programs website maintenance and social media engagement.
  • Active member of the Business Development & Marketing Team troubleshoot issues with RFP s held build presentations and brainstorm ideas to help with sales growth.
  • Ensuring brand strength and alignment across multiple channels and all touch points.
  • Coordinate translation proofreading and other marketing functions.
  • Maintain results from marketing initiatives.
  • Complete and report on returnoninvestment (ROI) resulting from marketing initiatives.
  • Website maintenance and social media engagement.


Requirements

A successful candidate should have:

  • Bachelor s degree or diploma in marketing communications or business.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of marketing and communication experience preferably in a professional services or business environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work confidently and independently with all levels of an organization.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook) and database management experience..
  • Aptitude for working with technology.
  • Strong research project management and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and aboveaverage coordination and organizational skills.
  • Selfstarter independent and proactive who will show initiative and bring forward new ideas to the team.


Benefits

This position is a hybrid role working from home most of the time.

Our client welcomes all applicants interested in working 30 to 40 hours a week to apply.

Hourly rate is to be determined and based on experience.


Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel): 3 5 years in a fast paced environment with a proven track record Familiar with WMS systems, and good working knowledge of MS Office (excel) Team oriented individual able to work constructively and cooperatively with team members as well as with other departments Strong attention to detail and quality focused Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to conduct the root cause analysis and proactively analyze findings and identify opportunities for improvement Excellent interpersonal and communication skills A high degree of initiative and the ability to work in a team environment are essential Excellent knowledge of overall warehousing processes Strong computer skills
