Job Title: Sales Manager Solar Energy Systems

Location: Nairobi Kenya

Overview: Our client is looking for a Sales Manager specializing in solar energy systems for commercial use. Our client is a leading company in Kenya dedicated to the installation and maintenance of solar systems. If youre passionate about renewable energy and have a background in electrical engineering or telecom/solar/electrical equipment we want you to lead our sales team to new heights!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives for solar energy systems in the commercial sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities including lead generation prospecting and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their needs and providing tailored solar energy solutions.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate system designs and proposals for clients.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals contracts and pricing to potential customers.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the solar energy industry.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Mentor and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.

Requirements

Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  2. Proven track record in sales within the telecom solar or electrical equipment industry.
  3. Strong understanding of solar energy systems and their applications in commercial settings.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  5. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  6. Resultsdriven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  7. Leadership abilities to inspire and guide the sales team towards success.
  8. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as needed.
