Chief Technology Officer

This is a remote position.

• Technical Strategy: Develop and execute the companys technical roadmap aligning with business objectives and market trends with a specific focus on zeroknowledge proof (ZKP) technology and its applications in blockchain systems.
  
• Research and Development: Lead the research and development (R&D) efforts in ZKP protocols cryptographic primitives and related areas collaborating with internal teams academic partners and industry experts to advance stateoftheart solutions.
  
• Product Development: Oversee the design development and deployment of innovative blockchain products and platforms leveraging ZKP technology ensuring scalability security and usability.
  
• Team Leadership: Build and mentor a worldclass technical team fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous learning and empowering team members to achieve excellence in their respective roles.
  
• Technical Architecture: Define the technical architecture and design principles for ZKPbased blockchain solutions optimizing for performance interoperability and extensibility while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  
• Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify strategic partnerships and collaborations with academic institutions research organizations and industry consortia to advance ZKP research and promote adoption across various sectors.
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about regulatory requirements and industry standards related to privacy and data protection and ensure that the companys products and protocols comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  
• Thought Leadership: Represent the company as a thought leader in the blockchain and cryptography communities through participation in conferences seminars and technical forums and contribute to the dissemination of knowledge through publications and whitepapers.
  

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Masters degree in Computer Science Cryptography or a related field with a focus on zeroknowledge proofs cryptographic protocols or distributed systems.
  
• Proven leadership experience in a technical role preferably as a CTO technical director or senior research scientist with a track record of leading successful R&D projects and delivering innovative solutions.
  
• Deep understanding of zeroknowledge proof (ZKP) protocols such as zkSNARKs zkSTARKs or Bulletproofs and their applications in blockchain privacy scalability and interoperability.
  
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in blockchain development such as Solidity Rust or Go with the ability to architect and implement complex systems from scratch.
  
• Experience in building and scaling distributed systems blockchain platforms or cryptographic protocols with a strong grasp of network security consensus algorithms and fault tolerance mechanisms.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences and to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  
• Strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to translate technical insights into actionable plans and to drive innovation while balancing technical feasibility with business objectives.
  
• Passion for blockchain technology cryptography and decentralized systems with a commitment to advancing the state of the art and making a positive impact on society.
  

• Experience in the blockchain industry particularly in the development of privacypreserving applications decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms or enterprise blockchain solutions.
  
• Contributions to opensource projects or academic research in zeroknowledge proofs cryptographic protocols or related fields with a demonstrated track record of publications or patents.
  
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements relevant to blockchain technology privacyenhancing technologies and financial services.
  
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in startup environments or fastpaced technology companies including experience in fundraising business development or gotomarket strategy.
