Job Description

  • Support the Head in developing and implementing effective card products strategies and launching plans to achieve business objectives. Combine data driven insights with product vision & strategy to design new features and improvements to maximize impact and growth.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant departmental policies processes standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Support in defining key governance related documents policies and procedures to enhance the control environment.
  • Monitors the products trends to guide innovation and generate new ideas and communicates to concerned departments for business case writeup.
  • Provide support in growing the proposition client pricing client rewards and client product portfolio management approach.
  • Work with Head of department and crossfunctional retail teams to understand the user base and business needs.
  • Support the development of card specific product portfolios and rollout across the footprint to improve the crosssell and marketing campaign performance.
  • Identifies cobranding and Fintech opportunities and initiatives (based on value proposition) by building strategic alliances with partners.
  • Analyzes sales figures and customer feedback in order to effectively monitor the performance of products and adjust product features as necessary.
  • Provides inputs for pricing in line with financial analysis and the planning for new and enhanced products to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Develops and maintains regular interaction with existing and potential customer databases through all means of communications in order to ensure crossselling opportunities can be identified and capitalized upon.
  • Identifies new business development opportunities in order to endure achievement of the goals and objectives while promoting Ahlibank.
  • Conduct product specific research including extracting customer data and analyzing profiles to determine market and segment requirements.
  • Analyses existing as well as new of assigned products portfolios and propositions. Build strategic alliances for effective pricing and rewarding initiatives.
  • Work with Risk function to understand implication of risk policies on portfolios and revenue growth.
  • Provide analytical information to retail sales and marketing teams to assist in developing growth strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Formulate and implement the high and mid customers segment strategies including sales scripts training materials manage processes and program for upsell crosssegment client migration and ensuring client experience is maximized.
  • Collaborates with the sales and marketing to ensure that the required training and communication including clients messaging is provided regarding new products.
  • Trains and supports Relationship Managers on new products and changes in product features in order to ensure adequate understanding and awareness and ability to recommend the same to the customers.
  • Ensures that all relevant MIS reports are collated and prepared accurately as required by the HOD on the cards products.
  • Represents the department and actively contributes in various committees/meetings (internal and external) as applicable and as per authority levels in order to ensure relevant matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Performs other related duties or assignments as directed by the management that are related to the department and are within expertise and skills of the jobholder.

Minimum Experience: 08 10 years relevant experience in retail banking product management.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • In depth knowledge of retail customer segments and strategies.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management.
  • Good understanding of retail banking including products marketing sales and segment.
  • In depth knowledge of technical features and development of retail banking products.
  • Knowledge in Project systems Marketing product and/or business.
  • In depth knowledge of the competitive market with regards to Credit and Debit Cards Remittance.
  • Ability to manage complex projects financial analysis and promotion and packaging development.
