EMJ is looking for an experienced DigitalAnalyst to provide support in ensuring that EMJs database web properties & reporting deliver the EMJ goal of becoming the goto place for healthcare professionals globally.

Expectations
Customer Database Management:
- Ensure database health metrics are at agreed level
- Contribute to recommendations on database health improvement and growth (organic & paid)
- Stay on top of data best practice and legislation making sure this is understood and followed internally at EMJ
- Proactive segmentation of the database to support the delivery of marketing objectives
- Creating audience segmentation recommendations for commercial campaigns
Data insight & reporting:
- Responsible for the Marketing reporting dashboard
- Build capabilities that allow the department leads to selfserve their data needs
- Develop measurement frameworks to quantify the impact of business actions
- Measure and report on performance and effectiveness of marketing channels and provide optimisation recommendations
- Regularly undertake dedicated data analysis to identify trends and challenges to inform the business and its stakeholders
- To identify data gaps research and recommend solutions and assist with implementation
- Create regular insight reports on the EMJ database and marketing results
Business Impact
- Use data to proactively identify opportunities within the customer and client side of our business
- Use your commercial knowledge and analytical skills to identify root causes size impacts and propose solutions to changes in our business
- Humanise data for different levels of data literacy at EMJ
- Utilize historical data to create models for future campaign comparisons
SEO & Web Analytics:
- Development of SEO strategy ensuring it is driving audience and share of search growth
- Monitoring of search performance and troubleshooting
- Ensure EMJ web platform is secure and well maintained
- Troubleshoot website performance issues and abnormalities
- Performance tagging responsibilities for website
- Working with external partners to execute changes and improvements to website
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments within EMJ to understand the business and share business insight in return (Sales Client Services Editorial Design)
- Work collaboratively with the product teams to improve the EMJ product
Experience Required
- Proven experience in marketing data analysis digital analytics or related roles
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tools
- Experience with website measurement and tagging tools (e.g. GA/GTM) and troubleshooting tag configuration
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI)andweb analytics and CRM automation tools e.g. Google Analytics Hubspot
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and modelling techniques
- Excellent communication and data presentation skills
- Challenger mindset always looking for opportunities to improve and be proactive
- A numerate degree in maths science computer science economics engineering or similar preferred but not essential
- Gold Medal Winner mentality
Key Information
- Salary:Negotiable
- Reports to: Kristina Mestsaninova Marketing Director
- Hours: 8.30am 5pm MonFri
- Working pattern:Up to 2 days flexibility to work from home (FT in office during probation)
- Location:Moorgate London
