Role Description:

As a Procurement Specialist for and nbsp;Ferrous Products (Ferro Alloys Manganese Iron Ore Metal Scrap etc.) and nbsp;you will play a vital role in managing the sourcing and procurement activities related to our ferrous product categories. You will collaborate with suppliers negotiate contracts and ensure the timely delivery of materials to support our distribution operations. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of ferrous products supplier management and procurement processes.

What are the expectations from the role: and nbsp;

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of ferrous products based on quality price reliability and delivery capabilities in Kolhapur
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers ensuring their adherence to contractual terms quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Negotiate pricing terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal value while maintaining quality standards and delivery requirements.
• Manage relationships with existing suppliers and pricing agreements.
• Take multiple quotes from vendors for any RFQ.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales operations and inventory management to understand material requirements and develop procurement strategies.
• Should be able to handle a team.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree is a MUST (A masters degree is preferred)
• Proven experience of 4 to 6 years in procurement or sourcing of ferrous
• An ideal candidate will have exposure to dealing with metal manufacturing industries handling raw material procurement.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
