Tasks

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing activities of the company ensuring that goods and services are procured at the best possible prices without compromising on quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
  2. Identify reliable and costeffective suppliers/vendors and establish longterm partnerships.
  3. Negotiate contracts terms and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
  4. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
  5. Oversee the procurement process from sourcing to delivery ensuring timely and efficient supply of goods and services.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including operations finance and quality assurance teams to identify procurement needs and requirements.
  7. Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels to meet production and operational needs.
  8. Stay updated on market trends industry developments and best practices in procurement to drive continuous improvement.
  9. Develop and maintain procurement policies procedures and documentation in accordance with company standards and regulations.
  10. Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals providing guidance and support to ensure departmental goals are met.

Requirements

  1. Education: A bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field is typically required for this role. A masters degree in a relevant discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  2. Experience: Candidates should have a proven track record in procurement or purchasing roles with at least insert number years of experience in a managerial capacity. Direct experience in procurement supply chain management or purchasing is essential.
  3. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of procurement principles practices and procedures is necessary. This includes understanding sourcing strategies contract negotiation supplier management and inventory control. Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards is also beneficial.
  4. Skills:
  • Negotiation: Exceptional negotiation skills are crucial for securing favorable terms and pricing agreements with suppliers.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with suppliers internal stakeholders and team members.
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data identify costsaving opportunities and make datadriven decisions is important.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills
