Looking for a Change Manager to better enable the success of digital transformation projects. This person will work closely with the ITS leadership and staff project teams and stakeholders to focus on the peoples side of change including changes to business processes systems and technology.
This focus on the unique needs of LMU students faculty and staff will improve ITS project and service delivery and drive engaged stakeholders faster adoption and higher utilization for the continuous stream of digital transformation initiatives happening at LMU.
Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Develop and implement a Digital Transformation Change Management Center of Excellence to proliferate the use of Change Management including framework(s) strategies plans practices and templates to maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.
Leading and coordinating change management activities by integrating change management activities/tasks into ITS project plans acting as a coach for Sponsors frontline managers and supervisors as they help people through changes.
Collaborate with LMU staff (Provost office Marketing and Communications) and external partners (AJCU and Educause) and suppliers for program success.
Ensure ITS outreach training marketing communications events and products are proactive timely high quality and effective in support of projects services and operations.
Assess and monitor the adoption of ITS services where change management training and marketing have been applied. Provide direct supervision to the ITS Training and Communications employee.
Lead and support ITS People and Culture initiatives to create a supportive environment for employees to work grow and develop. For example the creation of a new vision statement or changes to the departments cultural values would require the CM to lead the way on making changes a reality.
Develop and manage a User Experience program that identifies opportunities for improvement and training for students faculty and staff. For example prior to or post new system implementation the CM might pull in users and show them how to perform a new task say it takes ten clicks and then ask the user about the experience. Is it as easy as the technical leads say it was If not the CM may decide user training is needed.
