Junior Finance amp Investment Analyst - LixCap

LixCap is looking for a Moroccobased Junior Finance and Investment Analyst to join the companys growing team.

The Junior Investment Analyst will be assisting the Finance and Investment team on a daily basis by leading financial modeling financial analysis and business valuation tasks as well as investment documents drafting that are generally considered as the main deliverables for the different projects the team is engaged on.

Job Required Skills:

• Good financial research and analytical skills
• Good financial modelling capabilities and financial analysis skills
• A solid grasp on the mechanics of financial statements
• A strong experience engaging and leading on financial modeling tasks using excel for different types of projects
• An experience in developing and drafting investment projects documentation such as teaser management presentations information memorandum etc.
• Good understanding of the following topics: project finance investment funds fund raising operations due diligence process etc.
• A pragmatic mindset with experience in assisting clients with operational and strategical problem solving
• Ease with public speaking and official presentation in both French and English for public and private clients
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A strong desire to work on modeling the financial and operational aspects of investment projects
• The ability to cope with adversities and quickly changing operational conditions while leading complicated milestonedriven projects
• The ability to use advanced features of Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint Power BI
• A good understanding of investment and finance concepts

Job Qualifications:

• A masters degree in finance investment or another financerelated field
• 1 to 2 years of documented experience in a consulting firm investment bank or investment fund with good financial modelling and critical thinking skills
• Good written and oral language skills in French and English
• Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member
• Critical thinking skills and an analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate and overcome challenges
