Job Description

As a Generator Install Coordinator you will be responsible for managing the entire installation process from the moment a contract is signed to when the final payment is collected and the job is completed. Work with inventory manager to have inventory counts and order necessary materials to ensure timely completion of assigned projects. Additionally you will keep customers informed about the progress of their job from start to finish using an organized method.
You will handle scheduling of all offsite installations and inspections for your assigned projects and follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the entire installation. When encountering any issues or problems that require input from others or the management team you will promptly escalate these matters for resolution.



    • Coordinate with installation team to schedule job start and completion dates
    • Work closely with sales team to schedule generator installations and ensure all necessary materials are available
    • Work with customers to obtain necessary information for permitting.
    • Prepare and submit permit applications to local authorities and obtain necessary approvals.
    • Maintain accurate records of all permit applications and approvals
    • Communicate regularly with the field supervisor to ensure that all jobs are progressing according to schedule
    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding permits job status and other related matters
    • Work closely with local building departments to ensure compliance with all regulations and codes
    • Coordinate with customers to obtain necessary information for installation including site preparation and electrical requirements
    • Maintain accurate records of all installation projects including documentation of warranty information and service records


Requirements

    • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
    • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively
    • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
    • Experience in retail hospitality or other customer service industries
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
    • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of character
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced and highpressure environment

    • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
    • The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to answer phones and type on computer.
    • The employee is occasionally required to sit kneel or crouch.
    • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
