Mining Supply Chain Mandarin Senior Operations Manager

Our client was restructured from several supply chain service and went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2011. The companys main business is supply chain management and logistics services logistics platform development and operation. Resources: Commodity procurement and supply business mainly feature plastic chemicals metal minerals agricultural products forest products and mechanical and electrical products such as five general resins EVA fish meal whey powder palm oil latex steel nonferrous metals automobiles etc.

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee our Purchasing Documentation EXIM and Logistic departments. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain industry exceptional leadership skills and the ability to develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the Purchasing Documentation EXIM and Logistic departments ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Maintain open lines of communication with managers staff and vendors to support company growth and operational excellence.
• Understand and optimize the endtoend supply chain process enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Quickly establish and maintain working relationships with key vendors and partners.
• Conduct thorough analysis of internal operations to identify and implement process improvements.
• Develop and execute costsaving strategies to contribute to the companys financial health and growth.
• Ensure all operational activities are executed on time and within budget maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
• Monitor market trends supply and demand to inform strategic decisionmaking.
• Guarantee compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards mitigating risks and ensuring operational integrity.
• Address and resolve issues arising from both external and internal departments fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Requirements:

• A bachelors degree from a reputable university; any major is welcome.
• At least 5 years of experience in an Operations Manager role or a higher level preferably within the Manufacturing Industry or Supply Chain sector.
• Willingness to travel for business as required.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English with strong communication skills across all levels.
• Demonstrated expertise in Purchasing EXIM and Logistic processes including familiarity with relevant regulations.
• Proven leadership and management abilities with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
• Experience in delivering presentations to Clevel executives showcasing strategic insights and proposals.
