Personal Lines Account Executive

PERSONAL LINES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE INSURANCE INDUSTRY (Permanent)

Our client a locally owned / familyoriented insurance company in the Buffalo area is looking to hire a Personal Lines Account Executive. This is a great opportunity to join an extremely stable company that has been in business for over 70 years.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service answer any questions ask probing questions to make sure that the customers have the proper coverage for their needs
  
• Correspondence via phone and email to answer and billing/claims inquiries
  
• Review/process applications and generate quotes
  
• Process new business including paperwork processing putting information in the computer system etc.
  
• Contact customers and carriers to process changes to existing policies ensuring information is accurate
  
• Issue binders and Certificates of Insurance
  
• Process Endorsements and ID Cards
  
• Notate any communication with customers companies and carriers in computer system
  
• Work closely with sales team
  
• Ensure all tasks are diligently documented in the Agency Management System (AMS360)
  
• Perform administrative tasks as needed (this includes reception desk coverage when needed)
  
• Other duties as assigned
  

Details:

• Position is full time direct hire
  
• $20.00$26.00/hour depending on experience plus incentive plans and bonus/commission opportunities
  
• Health Insurance 401k with 3% Safe Harbor contributions Ancillary benefits include: Vision Dental Life Disability
  
• Possession of NYS Property & Casualty or Broker License or Personal Lines Insurance License
  
• 1 years customer service experience in an insurance setting
  
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  
• Strong interpersonal skills
  
• Detail oriented
  
• Strong computer skills
  
• Relocation not available
