- DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity.
- Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.
- May be assigned independent responsibilities by Department Director.
- Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.
- May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Department Director.
- Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrates proper operation of PACS HIS and RIS computer systems.
- Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR DR and PACs applications.
- Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high stress work intensive environment.
- Must be able to move and lift patients equipment and supplies on a regular basis.
- Must be able to operate complex radiographic equipment including Carm.
- Must have working knowledge of film processing and laser imaging results.
- Ability to stand/walk up to 6 hours per 8hour shift.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. intermittently throughout shift. Ability to lift over 100 lbs. without assistance and/or mechanical aid.
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use of prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of the position can be fully met.
- Ability to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
Holiday OT Callback Multipliers: 1.25%
Call: 4xx/hour
Requirement description :
- Minimum 2 year current CT and XRay experience
- ARRT (RTR) and (CT) Certification Required
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- Must have completed formal JRCERT approved Radiologic Technology Program.
- Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high stress work intensive environment.
- Attendance at all mandatory education is required
- Work History
- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position) current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications Must be uploaded with profile including Covid Vaccination proofs (dated on or after 10/3/23) or intent to file exemption form
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- ARRT
- BLS (AHA)
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
- Massachusetts
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : MA license must be in hand at profile upload
Weekend Requirements : TBD/Holiday coverage if required
On Call Requirements : As needed
