Specifically, you would be responsible forperforming the following tasks to the highest standards: • Maximise all Meeting & Events Sales revenue opportunitiesthrough up selling of function items • Closely monitoraccounts revenue and business production for Wedding accounts • Report to the GC&E Director on potential marketsneeding coverage • Meet and welcome some top key accounts,group organizers and VIP guests upon check-in • Takeresponsibility to conduct hotel inspection for all walk-ins,wedding groups • Be visible to organizers and clientsduring their event / group dates and monitor guest satisfaction • Regularly review Master A/C postings to ensure postingsare correctly done • Carry out negotiation for rates withwedding clients and organizers • Review bills withorganizers regularly to eliminate adjustments needed on finalinvoice • Ensure the highest standards of Event Managementare in place including building relationships with new/existingcustomers in order to secure rollover business • Ensure aculture of high quality standards for relationship building,customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processingcontracts • Build strong relationships with customers,Guests and Team Members in order to gain full understanding oftheir needs and work to serve them effectively • Accurateadministration and control of all Meetings and Events relatedreservations and blocks • Ensure that all Function Sheetsare handed over the Food and Beverage Operations Team every weekfor the following 7- 10 days outline and that all the informationis accurate, confirmed and billing details documented and in linewith the credit policy • To meet & greet nominatedconference contact or organizer to check on their satisfaction andthe set up of the meeting rooms on the day of the event • To conduct Show rounds for companies & agents in line withthe Company policy • To support the Food &Beverage operations and room reservations team with information asrequired • Ensure all information is relayed to the Chefand Operations Team in a timely manner to ensure they can order androster effectively • Contribute to the selling strategy ofthe hotel • To raise invoices for Events in line withquotations and forward them to the accounts departments on a dailybasis with relevant back up documentation to expedite payment • Understand the competitive market place and implementapproaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market Whatare we looking for?
