Responsibilities :
- Incident Manager is responsible for driving incidents end to end to
minimize impact to business and operations.
- Responsible for setting up incident bridge / chat groups and / or
direct contacts.
- Ensure consistency and control over the management of Major
Incidents.
- Ensures that right domain knowledge is engaged.
- Maintains open communication coordinates and delivers
instruction to all levels involved during incidents and escalation to
Executive leadership as required.
- Organizes and maintains appropriate documentation throughout
each incident.
- Provides periodic executive status summaries to internal and
external stakeholders.
- Responsible for all post incident activities
- Organize PostIncident Meeting to share / brainstorm actions and suggestions to avoid similar incidents in the future or shorten resolution time.
- Collect inputs from all parties to create client appropriate RCAs
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in Application support (2 years)
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the
ability to communicate with all levels including executive
leadership.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong Critical thinking problem solving and analytical skills.
- Effective organizational and leadership skills in a team environment
- Microsoft Office or similar productivity suite
Preferred :
- Understanding of networking operating systems web servers
databases infrastructure and cloud computing
- Knowledge about monitoring tools and scheduling jobs
- Prior experience in an incident management role
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
