Function: Sales and BusinessSales / Business Development

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for targeting hi-tech Startups and Enterprise customers with consulting service needs.
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the team to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability including building reporting and managing team metrics.
  • Take Ownership of the full sales cycle - outreach, preparing proposals, negotiations, and successful closure of deals and further mining of accounts
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Sedin's service offerings and identify key growth and penetration strategies.
  • Create a strategy and strong processes that generate net new customer leads, nurture existing leads, and identify upsell opportunities in existing accounts.
  • Facilitate and deliver early-stage discussions/pitches to leads, developing them into meaningful opportunities.
  • Be a mentor and leader for the business development and sales team.
  • Providing overall guidance on prospecting and lead generation to the sales team, as well as managing their growth plans, training, goals, and KRAs.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Sales/BD experience in the software industry - Preferably Services and Consulting.
  • Knowledge of selling custom software services and the teams required to execute projects.
  • Strong network of industry contacts and relationships, with the ability to leverage connections to drive business opportunities and partnerships.
  • The ability to develop a territory plan, and a pipeline of new clients and client engagements.
  • Proactively create propositions that address the organization's relevant challenges in collaboration with other members of Sedin.
  • Experience in dealing with Domestic and International customers. India is a must. Middle East and NA are beneficial.
  • Ability to multi-task identify the right opportunities and prioritize accounts.
  • Hunger and desire to exceed target goals.
  • Being goal and action-oriented - tracking results and actively experimenting with different solutions.
  • Demonstrable strong work ethic and has an internal motivation to succeed.
