In this role you will be working closely with the founders head of product and existing tech lead to build scale and managing EduFunds products. This is an exciting role for someone who wants autonomy and hyper growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage our engineering team fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and excellence.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including design product and marketing to align engineering efforts with business goals.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership in all aspects of software development from design to deployment.
- Drive the development and implementation of our MERNbased applications ensuring they meet quality scalability and security standards.
- Oversee and contribute to the development and maintenance of both web and mobile applications. 6. Lead the adoption of DevOps best practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Maintain a strong focus on security ensuring that our products are protected from potential vulnerabilities.
- Implement and oversee Agile development practices particularly SCRUM and ensure project management best practices are followed.
Requirements:
- 710 years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong technical background with expertise in the MERN stack and fullstack development.
- Proven experience in scaling products to accommodate high user demand.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Deep knowledge of security best practices in software development.
- Experience working with SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional project management skills including the ability to prioritize plan and execute complex projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead a highperforming engineering team.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
