- The Infrastructure Lead s role is to manage and tune in-house or hosted environment computer software systems and network connections to ensure stable operations, high levels of availability, and security of the supported business applications and agency IT This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications The Infrastructure Lead will also schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashio This individual also participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements, as well as a working knowledge of the skills to provision, manage, monitor, and decommission cloud
Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users and department managers to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future

- Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral
- Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure infrastructure-specific, and network products and
- Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development
- Assist with the planning and deployment of infrastructure security

- Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, security, wireless implementations, and so o
