Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Irvine CA or Remote

The role of Senior Business Development Manager for Zurich Technology Solutions is a remote based position where he or she will be responsible for selling Zurich Technology Solutions refurbished and new telecommunications parts and systems as well as depot repair services and other critical services to our diverse clientele including carriers service providers utilities broadband municipalities and others.

As a member of our sales team you will report directly to our Vice President of Sales. A fulltime position this individual will be responsible for generating new business for the company within existing customer accounts as well as acquiring new logo business.

The primary focus of this role will be to provide new and refurbished telecommunications parts and systems to Zurichs existing customer base and to new targets as well as repair services at Zurichs depots and onsite maintenance services.

Travel is expected to be 25%40% for this position.

Job Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to hunt for and get new customers and/or new contacts within existing accounts or new accounts by way of prospecting over the phone email social media and in person as business demands. We would expect that you would leverage your current contacts/relationships based on your sales experience and our existing database of contacts.
Position Zurich Technology Solutions capabilities and service offerings to address specific customer needs.
Build and maintain relationships with CSuite VPlevel Director Manager and other DecisionMaking leaders within targeted account base.
Create and drive sales campaigns from discovery to close.
Manage large and complex sales opportunities with multinational customers.
Collaborate with internal team members to develop account strategies align resources gain executive support and execute with excellence on behalf of the customer and our company.
Consistently build customer success plans conduct internal and customerfacing Quarterly Business Reviews.
Demonstrate a desire to deliver incremental revenue and profitability growth results for the company year over year while meeting or exceeding annual quota.
Be responsible for pricing of goods and services sold to customer base ensuring profitability.
Develop and own Social Media campaigns using LinkedIn Facebook Twitter and other social and business networks to drive new leads to Zurich.
Assist with the Procurement of Telecom and IT Equipment as requested and needed by the business.
You will be expected to keep all customer and prospects records updated and complete using the company s CRM and ERP platforms.
It is expected that you will also attend and actively participate in the hosting of company assets at select industry tradeshows as requested.

Requirements

  • 5 years experience in telecommunications
  • Customer Focused Professional Accountable Detail Oriented Persistent and Reliable all traits required for the role.
  • Ideally experience selling in to Tier 1 / Tire 2 Carriers/Service Providers or tower companies.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with CSuite VPlevel Director Manager and other DecisionMaking leaders

Our competitive compensation package is comprised of a base salary plus a nolimit bonus plan commensurate with experience.
