Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Sales Manager with a view to maintain existing business in addition to grow new business in line with set goals. The ideal candidate must have a strong ability to build a comprehensive multi-channel sales strategy, as well as a proven record of achieving ambitious sales and profit targets.
Responsibilities:
• The role will involve a mixture of new business creation and account management.
• Leverage consultative and solution selling techniques to identify current and future opportunities.
• Initiates contacts, generates, and follow up on leads, conducts sales presentations, builds/maintains relationships, identifies the needs of prospective clients and closes the sale within agreed timeframes and quality standards within the Wholesale marketplace.
• Manages the existing customer base by cultivating and maintaining relationships, ensuring strong business relationships through active participation in different business networking opportunities.
• Analyses customer account information, traffic flow, and interact with key decision makers to execute sales strategy.
• Works with internal teams to provide creative selling solutions to partners to reach targeted objectives.
• Assists with other departmental requests as required and performs special projects or other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for the submission and accuracy of all necessary sales activity reporting, including the establishment of an appropriate sales support structure to better manage opportunities and closings.
Skills / Experience:
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in Travel Industry.
• Good time management skills with the ability to plan organize and prioritize tasks under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills for interacting business partners, clients, and upper management.
• Good knowledge of upselling and spotting revenue opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Able to maintain absolute discretion regarding confidential and/ or sensitive information.
• Availability for occasionally travelling abroad.
