Tharseo IT is a veteran run and minority owned business with a mission to deliver Oracle Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, Iaas services. We pride ourselves in being founded after a successful deployment of the world s first Washington DC Health Benefits Exchange, in 2014. We are currently seeking an Oracle Cloud Financials Consultant to join our team.


As an Oracle Cloud Financials Consultant, you will design, implement, and deploy software for applications in the Oracle Financials suite. Consultants frequently study updates to Oracle applications, analyze the needs of their employer, identify systems that need extra support before the installation, and provide documentation for other employees to refer to during projects. They may also recommend software changes to senior management, determine when systems need upgrades, develop code to test the system, and communicate with Oracle to resolve customer support issues. The primary qualifications to become an Oracle Financials consultant include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field and experience working with applications in the Financials suite.


What you ll be doing:

  • Serve as functional analyst/subject matter expert for new implementations and rollouts.
  • Gather and assess key client requirements and assist with translation into optimal solutions leveraging capabilities within Oracle Cloud.
  • Perform functionality gap analysis and solution design.
  • Present Oracle Cloud capabilities to clients to leverage relevant functionality and features.
  • Redesign business processes.
  • Develop functional specifications for reports, extensions, and integrations.
  • Drive data conversion strategies and support data conversion execution.
  • Lead functional design and testing for customization development.
  • Configure application modules.
  • Demonstrate application functionality.
  • Develop test plans/scripts and manage system testing.
  • Assess production readiness.
  • Create, deliver, and manage user training.
  • Production support after go-live.

What you ll need:

  • Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle R12 financial implementations as a team member or team lead on at least 2 full cycle implementations.
  • Experience as a resource in the implementation lifecycle of at least 1 Oracle ERP Cloud project.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience implementing some combination of Oracle Financials modules including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA)
    • Financial Accounting Hub (FAH)
    • Accounts Receivables (AR)
    • Accounts Payables (AP)
    • Cash Management
    • Fixed Assets
    • Treasury
    • EBTax
    • Advanced Global Intercompany Systems (AGIS)
    • Costing
  • Oracle ERP Cloud experience in at least these modules
    • General Ledger
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Fixed Assets
    • Tax
    • Cash Management
  • Demonstrated experience as a consulting resource assisting in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training.
  • Oracle R12.2.x Upgrade experience in Financials modules.
  • Experience working in onsite-offshore model.
  • Demonstrated success in executing or substantially contributing to Oracle Applications implementation.
  • Participation in improvement projects with defined business impact.
  • Very strong verbal communication skills including the ability to interact with executive staff.
  • Strong written communications skills.

Salary for roles at Tharseo IT varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set and level of experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $88,500 and $138,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Tharseo IT s total compensation package for employees.
