The Opportunity


We are looking for a bright, driven insights professional with a sharp mind that can instinctively separate the useful from the interesting, a bendy brain that can embrace ambiguity gets a kick out of reframing opportunity, and a strong client drive to insight into action.
The opportunity is to learn about how different businesses work, the way consumers of all different walks of life think, about the future of marketing and how incumbent businesses can pragmatically embrace it and most of all, you will learn loads about yourself.

We are seeking a radiator someone who brings energy to those around them and sees possibilities, not problems. This person will have a project leadership role where you will manage research processes using both qualitative and cultural insight skill sets on which you will equally be coached and supported by a super team of individuals.

To succeed in this role, well need you to:
Bring 6+ years of insight practitioner skills ideally dualist qual and cultural with a greater focus on qual. This means being able to set up and moderate consumer research focus groups, online communities and interviews, with a POV on research design and be able to tell insightful stories
Have a genuine interest in brands & marketing, with POV on how they are evolving and why
Have experience in and passion for applying insight into problems of brand and marketing growth opportunity understanding, brand positioning development, innovation co creation
Have an interest in sociology, anthropology and culture why the world is the way it is
Be able to run projects efficiently, managing both clients and team members upwards, downwards and sideways to bring the right resources to bear
Analyse and delve into consumer research to unearth genuine insights as well as understand how clients can take action off the back of them

As an example, these are some recent projects that are typical of the type of work we do:
Running focus groups to build a brand positioning for a new to world brand
Conducting trends research to inform portfolio planning & strategy
Decoding coffee culture to better understand the growth of the espresso martini
Running an ongoing online community with Gen Z consumers to co-create innovation and marketing communications that cut-through with the rising generation

As a guide, this role is perfect for someone with 6+ years of experience in market research but who feels constrained by the problem type, client base or task in their current role. We would also especially welcome diverse & surprising backgrounds and will flex the role (including any necessary training) to fit the right person.
