Organizing Beta Testers *Including coordination with merchants to encourage them to participate in beta testing if a new major version update is released. Applicable to implementation of new products and services.
In charge of performing actual beta testing on the production environment (i.e. smoke testing) to make sure that production environment and test environment have the same logic.
Document smoke tests.
Assist in the documentation and publishing of API Update release.
Deploying or Monitor APIs and Applications to production *Including patches and version upgrades upon go signal of the development team.
Ensure that the API or application deployed are in working order.
Maintaining Production Environment Credentials, including Payment Channel Integration credentials, partner SFTP credential, production IP white lists, merchant authentication, database server credentials, etc.
Fulfilling Merchant Request (Production) *Including execution of special reports, or extracting production data.
Must submit a weekly report on system monitoring (i.e. bugs, issue), scheduling of patch and fixes and recommendation for improvements.
Knowledgeable in documenting an incident report and be able to communicate this with necessary stakeholders.
Must be able to help create requirements and procedures for implementing routine maintenance. Troubleshooting existing information systems for errors and resolving those errors happening in the production system
Tracing merchant issues on production environment and escalation to proper team to resolve *Including tracking of issues, current status, and target completion date of the resolution for each issue.
Must be knowledgeable in deploying continuous integration tools for automating monitoring issues.
Must be able to initiate and document change requests (via Synergy) on the production, and must adequately monitor and track stakeholders in upholding the urgency and criticality of the change request.
Once issues are identified, it should be part of the planning process with software developers on how to solve and prevent issues from happening.
Providing their guidance and expertise on system options, risk, impact and costs vs. benefits, they create and share their operational requirements and development forecasts to allow for timely and accurate planning of projects.
Be able to initiate meetings and sessions with the team (at least once a week). The meetings can be related to presenting system performance, strategies on solving or preventing issues, or knowledge base sharing that can foster camaraderie within the stakeholders.
Be able to formulate and document processes with the CTO or I.T. director in improving our clients user experience (i.e. Integration, Production Release)
Requirements
EDUCATION :
Bachelors degree with a major in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
EXPERIENCE :
More than 5 years of relevant in IT Operations.
