HOSPITALITY SUPERVISOR-MISSION BAY, 8HR VARIABLE SHIFTS & WORK DAYS. Working knowledge of hospital, warehouse or industrial janitorial cleaning. Effective verbal and written communication in English. Supervisory experience a must. Ability to work in a setting with exposure to blood and/or bodily fluid.
PREFERRED: Prior working experience in a union environment. Housekeeping Training License / Certification, and/or Bloodborne pathogens and sharps disposal training.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Solid, comprehensive working knowledge / understanding of a specific EH&S field including related laws and regulations, and general understanding of all EH&S fields.
- Strong and comprehensive working knowledge of chemical, biological, radiological, and physical hazards present in research laboratories. Demonstrated knowledge of current guidelines and prudent practices applying to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including the proper selection and use of PPE. Strong knowledge of the laws and regulations governing PPE selection and use. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and unit conversions.
- Solid organizational skills to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects.
- Knowledge of inventory management, reciept and distribution of materials, and inventory control.
- Ability to organize and schedule tasks to complete projects in a fast paced customer driven environment. Demonstrated abilitiy to maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date records.
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively in a diverse environment.
- Knowledge of recordkeeping and data management. Demonstrated ability to create detailed reports to effectively communicate program information to stakeholders.
- Working skills in the appropriate use of technology and relevant scientific equipment as required.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in related area or at least five years of experience in an EH&S related field.
