Software QA Specialist

High Tech Genesis is looking to hire a QA Specialist to help bring industry leading green-energy technology to the market! Work with the next generation technologies to produce the fastest home electric vehicle charger in the industry. The QA Specialist will define, automate, and execute test plans for our products.

Responsibilities:
Own software quality of our Web, mobile, and Cloud products
Work closely with the product managers and software developers to understand business needs and what needs to be tested
Develop test cases and prioritize the testing activities
Execute test cases and report defects, severity, and priority in tracking tools
Carry out regression and load testing when code changes and bug fixes are made
Report and discuss issues with lead software developer and product manager
Promote best practices in software testing and Quality Assurance and help the team grow

Required skills and experience
5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing
3+ years of QA automation experience using Selenium, C#, Browserstack, Postman, JMeter
2+ years of experience in test planning, test case development, and test analysis and reporting
2+ years of experience in Agile, and with CI/CD tools and practices
2+ years of experience with Azure DevOps AND/OR Jira

Desirable skills:
Experience with monitoring tools (performance, security, availability)
Strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and drive
Fluent written and spoken English communication skills
Excellent written skills
