Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and reliable HR Business Partner to liaise and consult with our internal and external stakeholders and employees, providing support and guidance in all related matters pertaining to standard HR procedures and South African Labor Relations. This position is based in Gauteng

Responsibilities (Not limited to):

  • Ownership and continuous improvement of all HR processes for the regional office
  • Responsible for providing administrative and functional support for day- to-day HR activities within the employee life cycle
  • Serves as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Continuously and situationally informs and implement policies, job duties, working conditions, opportunities for promotion, and employee benefits.
  • Implement high quality HR Business Partner services that span across the employee life cycle from selection to off-boarding.
  • Conduct regular (weekly or monthly) meetings with respective business units to ensure alignment of people and business objectives.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and review HR Policies and Procedures as required.
  • Maintains all personnel files through the Internal HRM System
  • Coordinate with the Finance team regarding Payroll and timekeeping
  • Monitor and track due dates for completion of performance appraisals, to ensure that recommendations for salary increments, promotions, demotions etc. are applied
  • Coordinate and facilitate the disciplinary and grievance hearings
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures within scope of control.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Relevant Diploma in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Labor Relations, or a related field. NQF 6
  • Relevant Graduate Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is desirable.
  • 3-5 Years experience working as an HR Generalist / HRBP.
  • Extensive and substantial IR knowledge and experience is a must
  • Experience working with a human resources information system
  • Eligible to work in UST EST shift, 4pm-1am SA time onsite.
