- Write a lesson plan for each class
- Lead classes with a combination of lectures and hands-on practice
- Help students improve their artwork
- Assess student projects with their skill level and style in mind
- Submit grades for your students at the end of each semester
- Advise students who are hoping to pursue a career in the arts
- Bachelor's degree in fine arts or art education
- Teacher's license
- Strong communication, teaching, and time management skills
- Experience working with children of various ages
- Experience with different visual arts
