About the company

• Hot new restaurant group is growing and needs a Corporate Chef to work side by side with the owner to open their newest concept

• Owner is a young Kuwaiti who studied at the University of Austin in Texas where he won awards for his bbq cooking. He left a career with a billion dollar real estate investment fund to start his own restaurant group.

• Their first restaurant is a hugely successful American bbq restaurant concept

• New concepit is 400 SQM restaurant currently under construction and should be completed in October with opening plan

• Will operate 6 days a week with a FOH and BOH team of 30

• The company has strong financial investors and is expanding to open additional concepts and to open stores internationally.

About the job

• Corporate chef will work side by side with the owner to open the new restaurant,oversee their other concepts and help the company grow.

• The owner is a big foodie and passionate cook, but he needs a professional chef who understands professional kitchens, training, systems, kitchen finance etc.

• You will develop and test menu items, recipes etc with the owner who is hands on.

Requirements

What we are looking for

• Owner is looking for a chef who is creative, talented and hands on. Someone who is a rising star in hot restaurants and can be collaborative with the owner. Must be up to date with the latest food trends and cooking techniques.

• Someone who is willing to relocate to Kuwait - but will travel in the future as new restaurants open outside Kuwait. Alcohol is not legal in Kuwait, please be aware.
