Sr. Manager Pay on Delivery
Job Summary
On the other hand POD also has its down-sides: it leads to low-intent purchases casual rejects and abuse from some customers which impacts the sustainability of the instrument. Hence there is a need to continuously shape the POD offering to make it available for good customers while reducing access to the not-so-good customers and make it an overall more sustainable business lever for Amazon.
We are seeking a Sr. Manager Product Management - Technical to help transform Pay on Delivery into a sustainable instrument. This leader will lead a multi-disciplinary team of product program GTM and analytics across all dimensions of POD: Onsite Post-order Refund CX and Cost-to-Serve.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Execution
Define and execute 15-year product strategy to improve all aspects of POD CX and make it sustainable
Actively engage with leaders of other International Emerging Countries and guide and influence the plans for POD transformation and roll-out
Drive Stores-wide goals and programs with measurable business impact
Make high-judgment trade-offs between opportunity resources and sustainability
Establish scalable mechanisms for cross-team collaboration and operational excellence
Executive Engagement
Independently represent the organization in VP-level business and technical forums
Author and present strategic documents and planning narratives
Influence cross-functional priorities using data-driven arguments
Communicate vision to diverse audiences (engineering science business finance)
Technical & Organizational Leadership
Lead and inspect Generative AI-powered customer behavior shaping algorithms that can be scaled to other IES geographies and new external clients
Navigate complex dependencies across Stores Last Mile Delivery Operations Ship With Amazon and other partner organizations
Build partnerships with stakeholders to drive worldwide expansion and new business models
Own the technical bar for systems that ingest enrich and organize billions of products
Team & People Management
Lead a high-performing team of managers and senior individual contributors
Build succession plans and develop future leaders
Foster psychological safety and inclusive culture
Drive engagement retention and career growth initiatives
Attract and hire exceptional talent (engineers scientists product managers program managers)
Basic qualifications
10 years experience driving high-impact Product led businesses.
6 years of team management experience
Bachelors degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Preferred qualifications
Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
Knowledge and prior experience of Last Mile delivery operations and products.
