Job Summary
Qualifications: Postgraduate in Urban and Regional Planning / Geo informatics / Geo science / Geo-Spatial Data Analysis.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in the Urban Sector with relevant exposure to large-scale Government
- programmes in Urban Planning & Development / Infrastructure Projects / Municipal
- Services.
- Experience in advisory and geospatial data management for Central / State / Regional
- Government.
- Proven track record in project monitoring and management.
Skills Required:
Technical Skills:
- GIS software: Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS QGIS Map Info Pro Google Earth.
- Spatial analysis: Understanding of spatial analysis techniques and tools.
- Data management: Knowledge of data management principles and practices.
- Programming: Familiarity with programming languages like Python SQL and ArcPy
Project Management Skills:
- Project planning: Ability to plan and scope GIS projects.
Team management: Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Strong communication and stake holder management skills.
- Budgeting: Ability to manage project budgets and resources.
- Risk management: Knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
Soft Skills:
- Problem-solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
