The ideal candidate should possess strong operational coordination and customer service skills with the ability to support ocean freight operations manage shipment follow-ups and ensure smooth communication between customers and internal teams. This is a work-from-home opportunity requiring availability for night shifts aligned with USA business hours.
Job Responsibilities :
Provide support to the Ocean Operations team as required.
Assist with shipment follow-ups and monitor shipment progress.
Identify and coordinate routing alternatives during urgent situations or shipment delays.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth shipment handling and operational efficiency.
Maintain effective communication with customers regarding shipment status and service requirements.
Support customer service activities and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
Ensure accurate updates and coordination across all stakeholders involved in the shipment process.
Job Requirements :
Graduate in any discipline preferred.
3 4 years of relevant experience in Ocean Operations and Customer Service.
Prior experience working with USA-based companies is mandatory.
Preferably from the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
Good knowledge of computer operations and MS Office applications.
Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
Willingness to work night shifts aligned with USA time zones.
Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy and organizational skills.
