Job Summary
Job Overview
We are in search of an experienced Facilities Manager for all the facilities of a 44 apartment Building. The standard and quality of maintenance that is being practiced in the Complex is very high and the same has to be maintained in the future.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily roster of the housekeeping staff.
- Ensure that the all the necessary cleaning material/equipment is available to the housekeeping staff.
- Ensure that the corridors common areas of club house have been cleaned by the housekeeping as per the maintenance standards.
- Ensure that the on-duty technicians are addressing the issues/concerns raised by residents of the building.
- Ensure that the security personnel are performing their duties and manning their respective stations.
- Ensure all the equipment is functional and AMCs where ever required are updated.
- Ensure all the cleaning supplies diesel for generators etc are well stocked.
- Discipline any member of the staff who is not performing his/her duties.
- Communicate with the resident members and keep them informed about the maintenance activities.
- Planning and coordinating all the installations and refurbishments.
- Managing the upkeep of supplies and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
- Reviewing the utility consumption and striving to minimize the costs.
- Supervising all staff facilities as well as that of external contractors.
- Allocating space to the required personnel according to their requirements.
- Coordinating with the accounts team to get the required contracts and insurances renewed.
- Controlling different activities such as waste disposal parking space allocation and building security.
- Keeping both records of both financial and non-financial tasks.
Requirements
- 5 years of work experience in facility management and administration.
- Should be fluent in English and Kannada. Optional: Hindi Tamil Malayalam
- Experience in engineering/technical operations will be preferred.
- Should have managed a building/ hotel or equivalent.
- A thorough understanding of best practices of facilities management is a must.
- Good inter-personal skills and organizational skills.
- Sound understanding of basic finance and accounting principles will be an added advantage.
- Excellent time management skills.
