Assistant Manager HR (BPO & IT)
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager HR with strong exposure to BPO and IT environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing HR operations employee engagement performance management compliance and employee relations while supporting business objectives and workforce productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding employee lifecycle management employee relations and compliance.
- Partner with operations managers and business leaders to support workforce planning and HR initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement programs retention initiatives and attrition control strategies.
- Develop attrition control strategies specific to BPO environment. Conduct pulse surveys skip-level meetings and feedback sessions. Drive recognition programs and performance culture.
- Support performance management processes including appraisals goal setting and performance improvement plans (PIP).
- Handle employee grievances disciplinary actions conflict resolution and escalation management.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements such as PF ESI Gratuity Bonus and Shops & Establishment Act.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports and dashboards covering attrition headcount absenteeism and other key HR metrics.
- Assist in policy implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Allocate tasks monitor team performance and provide guidance on HR best practices.
- Collaborate with management on workforce planning and HR process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Masters degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
- 810 years of HR Generalist experience preferably in BPO and IT organizations.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in leading or managing an HR team.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations performance management and statutory compliance.
- Experience in employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in IT Services/BPO industry is preferred.
