Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Support the development of smart engineering projects by applying data analytics artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies
- Support the collection processing and review of engineering data to improve asset reliability and performance optimization
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify key performance indicators collect data and analyze it to gain insights into system performance
- Assist in developing dashboards and reports to automize visualization of engineering data equipment conditions and performance trends
- Support monitoring of project progress coordinating with contractors and stakeholders and handling technical and site issues
- Actively exploring and applying emerging technologies to enhance engineering efficiency and reliability
Requirements
- Degree/ Higher Diploma in Engineering Computer IT or Data Science
- A minimum 4 years of relevant experience including 2 years in a supervisory role
- Solid knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g. Python SQL C) is preferred. Familiarity with user-centered design principles would be an advantage
- Understanding the latest smart technologies in engineering including cloud platforms e.g. AWS and artificial intelligence is a plus
- Good analytical communication and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude self-motivated and innovative with a strong commitment to teamwork
- Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese. Proficiency in Putonghua is preferred
- Knowledge of railway or rolling stock systems is an advantage
