Known for executing multi-billion-dollar public works railway transit networks complex bridge structures and large-scale building developments they are expanding their corporate leadership team in Hong Kong.

Their Hong Kong portfolio spans landmark housing schemes civil transit links complex structural developments and site formation works.

We are seeking a high-caliber Technical Director to take overall corporate responsibility for technical management financial controls and executive human resources across the groups building construction portfolio in Hong Kong. The appointee will fulfill statutory compliance standards under the HKSAR Buildings Ordinance and lead top-level governance across major housing and structural developments.

• Serve as the designated corporate Technical Director exercising statutory oversight and ensuring full compliance with the Buildings Ordinance and Buildings Department (BD) requirements.
• Assume top-level authority over technical direction project budget management and human resource allocation across contractor operations.
• Oversee site safety management systems quality control programs and statutory submissions for active building developments.
• Sign and endorse official contract documentation specified statutory forms (BA/BD records) safety reports and project completion certificates.
• Represent the contractor in high-level interfaces with government authorities consultants and joint-venture partners.

1. Management Experience: Minimum 8 years of top-level management experience with building construction main contractors in Hong Kong.
2. Scope of Responsibility: Proven ability to provide verifiable proof of full overall responsibility for technical financial and human resources management (including employment contracts signed as Technical Director).
3. Directorship Continuity: Continuously served as a corporate Company Director for at least 8 years (experience accumulated across different registered contractor entities is accepted).
4. Project & Statutory Track Record: Comprehensive submission of past project involvement and supporting engineering documentation covering 12 housing / building projects. Must include contract documents signed as Technical Director and specified statutory forms/reports under the Buildings Ordinance (e.g. site records BA forms acceptance documents safety management reports).
5. Official Verification: Formal proof of employment issued by relevant employer HR departments signed by the Human Resources Manager and stamped with the official corporate seal.
6. Academic Background: Recognized Degree or higher qualification in Architectural Engineering Building Construction Civil/Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline.
