Job Summary
Were looking for a Technical Engineer to:
- Translate business and technology requirements for new functionality venues and upgrades
- into technical changes within the low-latency trading stack.
- Coordinate and manage technical changes with internal and external teams including vendors
- stock exchanges carriers and clients.
- Work with aligned network and infrastructure teams to help make key decisions on the design of
- the network architecture based on application requirements.
- Partner with the production services team to provide third-level platinum support for our
- clients.
- Build relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues across all APAC regions.
- Cooperate with global teams to develop and socialize best practices and standards.
- Build strong relationships with various regional and global technology and business stakeholders.
Preferred experience:
- Strong Python and Unix skills (especially Linux) including shell scripting.
- Strong FIX messaging experience within an electronic trading environment.
- Familiarity with key areas of trading technology including FPGA low-latency networkslow-latency application development and exchange protocols such as OUCH Arrowhead HKEX CCCG and OCG.
- Expertise in equities trading platforms and the trading lifecycle including low-latency tradingand co-location setups.
- Experience working with systems across front middle and back office.
- Experience working with stock exchanges and managing trading and market data infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with business sponsorsclients and third parties.
- Ideally 5 years of experience in a similar electronic trading role within the financial services
sector.
