Subject Matter Expert Data Centre

Responsibilities:

• Provide subject matter expertise for data center platforms including server operating systems and virtualization environments

• Manage and support day-to-day operations administration performance tuning and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure platforms

• Act as a technical authority for platform architecture design stability and lifecycle management across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments

• Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including automation system optimization and infrastructure modernization

• Manage and support enterprise infrastructure components including servers virtualization platforms storage systems backup solutions network infrastructure and data center facilities

• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure high availability scalability and security of IT platforms

• Develop and maintain technical documentation standards and operational procedures

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in Linux operating systems (e.g. Red Hat CentOS Ubuntu) and network fundamentals

• Solid experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware Hyper-V or similar platforms)

• Proven experience in managing enterprise data center infrastructure including servers storage backup and networking

• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and platform integration is an advantage

• Experience in automation tools and scripting (e.g. Shell Python Ansible) is preferred

• Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
