Senior Quality Assurance Manager (Operations) (Ref 260000EN)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and maintain an independent management audit system to ensure effectiveness of policies achievement of objectives and compliance with statutory and railway operational requirements
• Establish and implement audit review frameworks to ensure management systems are controlled effective and compliant with applicable requirements
• Develop and execute the annual audit plan coordinate audit programmes and lead a small team to deliver professional and high-quality audits
• Ensure compliance of contractors work with divisional and statutory requirements by managing and monitoring the contractor audit programme
• Analyse audit findings identify control deficiencies and provide recommendations to senior management to mitigate risks and enhance operational effectiveness
• Ensure high audit quality standards by developing the team with broad knowledge in railway operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Conduct management system audit reviews to ensure compliance with applicable standards statutory and operational requirements and ongoing suitability of the management systems
  

• DDegree in Management / Engineering / Engineering Science or a recognised professional qualification in a relevant discipline
• A minimum 12 years relevant working experience in internal or external Supplier Quality Engineer auditing of a high reliability organisation with at least 5 years at managerial level
• Possession of membership of a professional institution or registered status of relevant discipline
• Knowledge in safety quality environment management system and other management system standards and practices such as ISO9001 ISO14001
  ISO45001 and ISO55001 is preferred
• Good interpersonal communication analytical and reporting writing skills
