The Opportunity

An opportunity to join ManulifesAsia Regional Distribution teamplaying a critical roleinshapingand executingthe overallstrategywithin a fit-for-purpose governance framework.Thisis an exciting opportunity toshape thefuture of Manulifes Asia distribution bothin terms of the transformative changesin the short- to medium-term as well as thegame-changersto build longer-term competitive advantage.This role is not simply about putting strategy and plans on a page ratheritencompasses both the strategicelement as well astaking a pragmatic approach toplanning how to capturevalue in the short-term.Working closely with theAsia Chief Distribution Officer and the Head of Asia Distribution Strategy thereislargescope for impactand driving massive change!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the shaping and execution ofthe Asia Distribution Strategy as

  • Support Distribution Governance functions on ongoing/ad hoc endeavors

  • Support Business Units on specific strategic initiatives as

  • Support multiplestrategicprojects and initiatives across the Regional Distribution portfolio driving innovation and transformation

  • Develop andmaintainstrong relationships withstakeholders across the organization to ensure effectiveend-to-enddelivery

Required Qualifications:

  • Strongexperience inbusiness strategyable to make sense of the uncertain and ambiguous business environment todistillthe key issuesdevelop novel solutions to old problems andmake the link to the changes necessary toactually deliveron the proposed strategy

  • Experience inhaving conceived andexecutedondigital transformationend-to-end to create tangible value. Familiarity with anagile organizational modelis essential

  • A strongunderstanding of where and how value is created. We are obsessedaboutimpact not the plans themselves!
