Responsibilities

• Handle all accounting and finance matters for Hong Kong Business Operation including both Leasing and Property Sales
• Manage daily accounting operations financial transactions and general ledger maintenance
• Assist in month-end closing and fixed asset management
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial analyses for Hong Kong Business Operation
• Support budgeting forecasting and business planning activities
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and profits tax filings for Hong Kong entities
• Coordinate annual audits and interim reviews with internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in finance system enhancement and process improvement initiatives
• Perform ad hoc assignments and projects as required

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting Finance or a related discipline with HKICPA or equivalent professional qualification
• 58 years of relevant experience gained from a Big Four CPA firm and/or a sizeable listed company
• Sound knowledge of Hong Kong accounting standards taxation and regulatory requirements
• Experience in property leasing property sales and/or property development is an advantage
• Experience in finance system implementation enhancement or revamp projects is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proactive detail-oriented and able to work independently under tight deadlines
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Hands-on experience with Oracle is preferred
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Accountant
