Resident Engineer

Phase 2 Redevelopment of Ming Wah Dai Ha

Upgrading of the Public sewage and Drainage Works Outside the Site Boundary and Improvement Works at Junction of Chai Wan Road & A Kung Ngam Road

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee site supervision and support the delivery of construction projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with design and statutory requirements providing technical guidance and coordinating multidisciplinary teams throughout project execution.

• Technical responsibility for engineering design delivery.

• Checking that the site works comply with the approved plans design requirements including those of the method statements precautionary and protective measures.

• Inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.

• Validating conditions on site which relate to design assumptions for temporary or permanent structures.

• Conducting investigations into site-related complaints accidents and incidents and making recommendations for corrective actions.

• Providing technical advice and support to all stakeholders regarding building design construction and Statutory approvals.

• Preparing interim payments EOTs claims final account for comments and approval.

• Participating in meetings and workshops related to building construction and safety standards compliance to codes and regulations.

• Co-ordination collaboration and management of other discipline inputs into projects.

• Chartered Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of post-professional qualification experience in civil engineering or relevant field.

• Excellent project management and/or design management skills.

• Good command of spoken & written English and Chinese.

• Anticipated Full-time Resident Engineer deployment until March 2027.
