Job Summary
Our client is a leading digital platform and they are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager (Digital / O2O Platform) to drive end-to-end delivery of digital and O2O projects including web mobile and customer-facing products. The ideal candidate has strong IT project management experience understands new media and internet technology trends and is comfortable working with business stakeholders and external partners.
- Lead end-to-end planning execution and delivery of IT and digital projects (web mobile O2O platforms) from requirements to rollout.
- Work closely with product business engineering and operations teams to understand needs and translate them into clear project plans and deliverables.
- Manage project scope timeline budget risks and issues and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors ensuring smooth communication alignment and on-time delivery.
- Oversee small project teams or workstreams provide guidance and drive accountability for key milestones.
- Engage with customers / merchants and internal business users to gather feedback and continually improve products and features.
- Ensure projects follow best practices in quality security and user experience especially for responsive web and mobile applications.
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science Business or related discipline.
- 68 years of IT project management experience delivering digital web or mobile solutions industry background in FMCG or eCommerce is highly preferred.
- Familiar with customer-facing products or platforms (e.g. O2O services eCommerce loyalty / payment self-service portals).
- Proven experience in cross-functional stakeholder management vendor management and project governance.
- Experience in leading or supervising small teams / workstreams with strong coordination and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of new media technology and internet markets including:
- O2O business models
- Responsive web design and mobile usage
- Social media trends and digital customer behaviour
- Familiar with Agile or hybrid project management approaches is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).
